My Dream: Eyes are the Window to the soul
Last night I dreamt I was looking at myself in a mirror and had some mascara that I was going to touch up or freshen up. As I looked at myself in the mirror, evaluating my image, I began applying the mascara, but begin to notice that I already had dark eyelashes that were so full of mascara already, but I still attempted to re-apply some mascara anyway. But my eyelashes were so thick with previous applications or layers that it began to appear as one thick glob of mascara! Then I also realized that I already had a couple of sets of fake eyelashes on underneath these layers of mascara. I stepped back to take another look at myself and could not believe how dark and black my eyes looked! I thought: "Wow, I look like a Jezebel! That doesn't even look like me anymore... then I awoke!
What is my take from this weird dream? I can't explain why I've been given so many dreams, Prophetic words, visions except that the Lord with whom I am confined with lately wants to reveal things he sees going on with his bride... spots, wrinkles, blemishes and is giving us a chance to get ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb! Perhaps he wants us to return to our first love and see ourselves from his perspective and to begin to come out from among them and be separate. Some Scriptures I recall or came to mind are as follows...
SCRIPTURES TO PONDER...
Jeremiah 4:30 NKJV — “And when you are plundered, What will you do? Though you clothe yourself with crimson, Though you adorn yourself with ornaments of gold, Though you enlarge your eyes with paint, In vain you will make yourself fair; Your lovers will despise you; They will seek your life.

"The LORD looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:6¶So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the LORD’s anointed is before Him!” 7¶But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 11And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” 12So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” 13Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.
A Distressing Spirit Troubles Saul [Due to Disobedience]
1 Samuel 6:14¶But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him. 15And Saul’s servants said to him, “Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you. 16“Let our master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well.” 17¶So Saul said to his servants, “Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.” 18¶Then one of the servants answered and said, “Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him.”
REVELATION 2-3: THE SEVEN CHURCHES...LET'S FIND OURSELVES!
#1: The Loveless Church: Ephesus
1¶“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
2“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;
3“and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary.
4“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
5“Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.
6“But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
#2: The Persecuted Church: Smyrna
8¶“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:
9“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11¶“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’
#3: The Compromising Church: Pergamos
12¶“And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:
13“I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
14“but I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
15“Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16“Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
#4: The Corrupt Church: Thyatira
18¶“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
19“I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.
20“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that womanfn Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
21“And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.
22“Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
“I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
#5: The Dead Church: Sardis
1¶“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
2“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
4“You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.
5“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
6¶“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
#6: The Faithful Church - Philadelphia
7¶“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “Jezabel Dream, March 22, 2022 who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:
8“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
9“Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
11“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
12“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
13¶“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
#7: The Lukewarm Church - Laodiceans
14¶“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
15“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
16“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
17“Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—
18“I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
19“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
20“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
21“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22¶“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the seven churches.
Proverbs 31: The Virtuous Wife
10Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
11The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
12She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29“Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
30Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.
JEREMIAH 35:1-18 The Obedient Rechabites
1¶The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying, 2“Go to the house of the Rechabites, speak to them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.”
3¶Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, his brothers and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites, 4 and I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door. 5 Then I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups; and I said to them, “Drink wine.”
6¶But they said, “We will drink no wine, for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying, ‘You shall drink no wine, you nor your sons, forever. 7‘You shall not build a house, sow seed, plant a vineyard, nor have any of these; but all your days you shall dwell in tents, that you may live many days in the land where you are sojourners.’ 8“Thus we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters, 9“nor to build ourselves houses to dwell in; nor do we have vineyard, field, or seed. 10“But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us. 11“But it came to pass, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, ‘Come, let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans and for fear of the army of the Syrians.’ So we dwell at Jerusalem.”
12¶Then came the word of the LORD to Jeremiah, saying, 13“Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, “Will you not receive instruction to obey My words?” says the LORD. 14“The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, which he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed; for to this day they drink none, and obey their father’s commandment. But although I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking, you did not obey Me. 15“I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ‘Turn now everyone from his evil way, amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them; then you will dwell in the land which I have given you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear, nor obeyed Me. 16“Surely the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them, but this people has not obeyed Me.” ’
17¶“Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the doom that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them but they have not heard, and I have called to them but they have not answered.’ ”
18¶And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, “Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts and done according to all that he commanded you, 19‘therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before Me forever.” ’ ”
